After growing up with lessons about French history and culture in school, it’s impossible not to feel incredibly excited and nervous about visiting such a rich and strangely familiar-feeling place. (Probably more so for Luke, honestly, who had none of that context and had to learn the language on the fly… which he did very well!)
We’ve spent weeks powering (and also bumbling) our way through what have become some of our favorite cities in France – and the world. But we’ve only just scratched the surface!
