If you enjoy mountains, lakes, forests, wildlife, and STUNNING vistas, Alberta is the province for you. While many US citizens overlook Canada in favor of our own national parks, Alberta certainly has its own charms and fantastic beauty. Their parks are well-maintained, “user-friendly” and a boon to anyone with a camera and/or a sense of adventure.
Banff National Park is well-known, and we made nearby ski town, Canmore, our home base. From there, we roamed around Banff and Jasper National Parks, taking in the sights and, admittedly, the traffic.
So, strap in, ladies and gents. We road-tripped from Vancouver to Canmore and back, and loved (almost) every second of our whirlwind trip through one of Canada’s loveliest provinces.
