Luke and Meagan

Our story

The first time we met, we hit it off and decided to bail on a TRX workout at our local climbing gym to go play on fun bouldering routes.

Somehow, that was 4 years ago. And, through being close friends, not friends, and then way MORE than friends, that flying by the seat of our pants, fun-craving attitude continues to define our relationship.

While our gym discipline may have gotten a bit better in that time (…maybe), we’ve also bought a house, combined our furry families, and made a nerdy, cosy, introverted life for ourselves in Richmond, VA.

Time for a fun new chapter together!

But even introverts can get tired of sitting around the house, listening to their otherwise sweet cats try to beat the living shit out of each other.*

So, we started looking for adventures. We’ve both traveled independently and, together, we’ve day-tripped to several places in Virginia. Now, we’re moving up to regular trips abroad… and we’re SO stoked!

And, hey, this seems like as good a time as any to start keeping track of our exploits together.

Buckle up, kids. I (Meagan) write most of the stories, and Luke loves to interject with his perspective on the whole scene – typical.

We’re awkward, we pun, and neither of us is a stranger to making copious fandom references. If that sounds like fun to you, we’d love to share our adventures with you – so let’s go!

*No cats have been harmed in the making of this anecdote. Promise. One of us always sprints to intervene when either furperson gets too testy. We count it as spontaneous cardio. We’ve also determined that the added exasperation and fussing both burn additional calories.
